Chantal Schutz is a Canadian CPA, CA with over 20 years of experience leading public and private companies through significant growth, financing, and strategic transformation. She has held executive and board roles with companies listed on both the NASDAQ and TSX Venture Exchange, specializing in scaling innovative, high-growth businesses.

Chantal currently serves as an Independent Director at OpenWorld, where she is a member of the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Chantal served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at mCloud Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: MCLD | TSX.V: MCLD), an AI-driven global energy technology company. During her tenure, she helped steer mCloud's aggressive expansion strategy, capital raises, and cross-border regulatory compliance — playing a key role in the company's dual listing on NASDAQ and TSX.V.

In addition to her executive leadership experience, Chantal has held multiple board positions, including Board Director and Audit Committee Chair at Clean Seed Capital Group (TSX.V: CSX) and Board Director at NYCE Sensors, an IoT technology innovator. She also previously served as CEO of NYCE Sensors, where she led the company's strategic direction, increased revenues by 300%, and executed financing and capital initiatives.

Chantal's expertise spans public markets, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory governance, and corporate finance. As CFO and Executive Team member at Back In Motion Rehab, Inc., she secured financing and led a successful restructuring that doubled both revenue and headcount.

Earlier in her career, Chantal articled at KPMG and PwC, and earned her Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University. In addition to her corporate roles, she has been an instructor at BCIT and a facilitator for the Chartered Accountant School of Business.

Chantal is passionate about helping women reach their true potential. In 2013 she co-founded Cloud Nine Nail Bar, a company for women, by women, helping it grow to a thriving 7-figure business. Rebranded as Cloud 9 Beautique in 2015, the business has since her exit in 2022 transitioned to a long-term staff member and now operates as Aura Beauty Lounge — continuing to be a hallmark of entrepreneurial success in Maple Ridge, BC.
